Ox-blood boards, spine titled in gilt. Very good in like dust jacket. For many years this was regarded as THE standard introduction to falconry. The second edition was completely rewritten for the use of the "modern" falconer. Illingworth's tales of hunting for eyries and collecting eyas peregrines and gyrs have been much toned down.
