More than just a dictionary, this definitive AZ cricket glossary features cricket idioms, cricket in literature, and cricketing quotations, as well as a range of photographs illustrating positions and strategy. Demonstrating how the language of cricket is as complex and fascinating as the game itself, the dictionary includes both terminology unique to the game, like googly, and common English used in a special way, such as square, point, and walk. This engaging resource can be used for reference or browsed for pleasure, and will appeal to cricket buffs and newcomers alike.
