Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Vicenc Gilbert is a professional architect who is responsible for the division of Construction Studies at the Universidad Politecnica de Cataluna in Spain. He has written widely on wood and been involved in numerous studies and publications on woodworking and construction. Eduard Vall-Ilosera is a master craftsman who specializes in cabinet-making. He has worked with architects and designers on a diverse range of projects involving wood. His professionalism and in-depth knowledge of wood are partly due to his background: his family consists of several generations of craftsmen.
