Victor Mollo, born in Leningrad, was a journalist and became one of the world's most successful bridge authors. His menagerie series has received worldwide acclaim. Robert King is a keen amateur player and a professional playwright. Both he and Phillip King wrote The Kings' Tales and The Hog in the 21st Century.
