The murderers were captured on video leading their victim away from his mother, out of the shopping mall, to be killed shortly afterwards. His body was left on a railway line. The characteristically Liverpudlian display of grief that followed turned into mob violence. The crowd wanted to lynch the two ten-year-olds.
