Josh Logan and his pard, Randy Newbolt reckon to have settled themselves into a comparatively quiet life running their ranch in New Mexico. But their plans are torn apart when the notorious Ephraim 'Scarface' Entwistle rides in with his gang demanding that they hand over their cattle. Quinn owns a stage line business and lodgings on his ranch. They warn Quinn that the Entwistle gang is abroad in the county, stealing cattle, but Quinn assures them that he is more than a match for them but it is soon apparent that running Quinn's stage line for him will be mo joy ride.Then one day the Entwistle gang shows up and in the ensuing gun battle death strikes with neither fear nor favour. Can Logan and Newbolt survive?
