Paul Chaney is a research associate at Cardiff University's School of Social Sciences. He is the author of New Governance, New Democracy? Fiona Mackay is a professor of politics and an associate director of the Institute of Governance at the University of Edinburgh. She is the author of Love and Politics. Laura McAllister is a senior lecturer at Liverpool University's Institute of Public Administration.
