This postgraduate multi-author monograph addresses a vital issue associated with the management of the critically ill patient. It will consider the clinical implications of oxygen transport under two major sections. The first will address the principles of oxygen transport in relation to physiology, measurement and therapy. The second will examine a series of clinical conditions related to inadequate oxygen transport.
