Barbara Mason Rast, a Phoenix, Maryland native, has lived and worked as a children's book illustrator and artist, in New York, for nearly 3 decades. She is a trained commercial artist, illustrator and fine artist and has had her work displayed in numerous libraries, galleries and businesses in several states.
