Adi seems to be successful. He comes from a middle class Indian family and graduated with honors. Like his countless peers, he could see no career alternative other than working for a prestigious software company. But Adi feels trapped. The robotic routine of commuting and work is grinding him down. His own relief comes from time spent with his thoughtful girlfriend Nandini. When a friend's death brings his life into sharp focus, Adi feels the need of change in his life. Leaving work and family behind, he embarks upon a spontaneous journey, his only plan to eventually reach distant Kashmir.
