Inhaltsangabe

In this classic story of search, hope and fulfillment, Runaround, a puppy living in the Fun-Filled Forest, finds himself “lost” in the Deep Dark Woods. As his caring parents and community of creatures devote themselves to searching for him, we see how his unpredictable escapade provides an opportunity for appreciation of the needs of others, regardless of their differences. All ends well, with a twist no one could foresee.

Proceeds from sales benefit High Country Conservation Advocates (HCCA), a non-profit environmental organization based in Crested Butte, Colorado, whose work protects mountains, rivers and wildlife.

Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Sue Navy, who originally wrote this book in 1960, is a long-time resident of Crested Butte, Colorado. She has devoted many years working to protect the surrounding environment, while enjoying all that life in a mountain town has to offer. This book is an offering to those mountains, as proceeds will help High Country Conservation Advocates, a local non-profit organization, continue its work on behalf of nearby mountains, rivers and wildlife.

Suzanne Pierson graciously provided her artwork for this book. She lives in Crested Butte, where she paints and gives art lessons, while giving generously of herself to the community.
