Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Joya Cory is an actor, director, improviser and educator in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is the founder of the experimental theatre troupes: MOTION: The Women’s Performing Collective and LUCKY DOG THEATRE. Her work has been recognized with grants from the California Arts Council and the San Francisco Foundation. Theatre pieces she wrote and directed have won the San Francisco Bay Guardian Best Theatre of the Year and Best of SF Fringe awards. In workshops from county jail to theatre venues, Joya has taught almost two thousand participants, adults and children, beginners to seasoned performers. Drawing on 45 years of practice, exploring principles and techniques from physical theatre, dramatic & narrative Improvisation, movement & dance, comedy improv, method acting, creative play & drama therapy, Joya has developed FULL SPECTRUM IMPROVISATION.
