Susan Ring had two deep seated dreams as a child. One was to become a mother, and the other was to be a writer. She became a mother to two boys and loved pregnancy so much she became a surrogate mother to five different families giving birth to eight babies (singleton, twins, twins, singleton, twins). She was a single mother then and admits it's a long story, but she'd love to take you along on her surrogacy journeys. Knowing she couldn't stay pregnant forever, she found love at forty-nine, remarried and yes, had another baby at fifty-two! Her second dream called, and she had no idea where to start writing, or if she could write, she took a pen to paper, and eventually took on a Mac Book Pro. Five years later on Mother's Day 2017, The Unexpected Mother was born. It was a long, anticipated birth, and many trips between Salt Lake City and California. She currently lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, daughter and their two interactive cats. Her two grown boys live in Los Angeles. She's working on the next memoir and it will be out mid to late 2017.
