Biografía del autor

After a career in journalism and communications, where he specialized in crisis communications, Paul is now writing and publishing [through Ozymandias Publishing Co.] children’s stories for Middle Grade readers (ages 8-12) interested in learning more about American history. Paul's first book--Spenser's Story of the Constitution--was published in August 2016. It tells the story of the writing of the Constitution through the journals of Spenser, a large and literate cat who was Caretaker of the State House in Philadelphia when the Constitution was drafted and signed in 1787. Among important Founders introduced by Spenser are Benjamin Franklin (a dear friend and neighbor of Spenser); George Washington, the president of the Constitutional Convention and the glue that held it together; and James Madison of Virginia who framed the Virginia Plan which later became the foundation of the Constitution. During the U. S. Constitution Bicentennial in 1987 Paul came to know and understand the Constitution through his position as Director of Federal, State and Local programs for the national commission created jointly by the White House and Congress to celebrate the document, and to expand knowledge of it to children across the country. His next book-Spenser's Story of Harriet Tubman--is due out early in 2017 and tells the story of Harriet Tubman and her courageous and dangerous work that freed more than 70 slaves through the Underground Railroad.
