Whip out your colored pencils and take a turn through the colorful garden that is Flowers. Divided into 10 beloved botanicals, artist, designer, crafter, and blogger, Brittany Jepsen, created Flowers Coloring Book, 60 pages of hand-illustrated patterns, bouquets, and scientific charts awaiting the distinctive color palettes only a flower lover could imagine. Coloring difficulty ranges from easy to challenging . The designs are on the front of the pages only, allowing for markers and various creative media. The book is laid out like a catalogue, with sections for 10 different flowers. Each section contains a scientific chart, blooming bouquet, stylized pattern, symmetrical layout, macro view, and a mixed pattern of all the botanicals. Some pages are highly detailed showing the various parts of the flower while others contain larger blocks of space. All are frame-worthy works of art. Connect with Brittany on Instagram—@HouseLarsBuilt—and tag your photos with @ColoringWithLars, to share your colored pages, for creative coloring inspiration, and for the chance to be featured. It's perfect for meditation time for adults or as a family activity for teens and kids alike!

Brittany Jepsen is a crafter, designer, artist, stylist and blogger of The House That Lars Built, a design lifestyle blog focusing on the whimsical and makeable. She has amassed a large community of creatives who seek to create an artful life. She grew up teething on the seaweed of Southern California though she preferred reading and creating in the great indoors. Her mom's favorite quote was "a creative mess is better than tidy idleness" and so her childhood was spent creating art work, music, and yes, lots of messes. On track to becoming a museum curator she was haunted by those creative messes and enrolled in permanent "creative mess status" otherwise known as a master's in interior design. She graduated in 2010 after spending summers working with professional creative messers including Jonathan Adler and Celerie Kemble in NYC. There she helped designed products renowned companies and helped create beautiful interiors for fancy schmancy penthouses. She spent part of her graduate studies in Copenhagen studying textile design and writing a column for design*sponge. Since moving back to America, the blog took on a life of its own and soon it became a full-time job. It has since become a popular destination for crafters, artists, and people looking to create a full, artful life. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Vogue.co.uk, CNN, The Today Show, and various publications. She has licensed dinnerware collections with Twig NY, party lines with Modify Ink and she has styled two other books: Knitting Without Fingers by Anne Weil and Playful by Merrilee Liddiard. Flowers Coloring Book is her first coloring book with additional volumes on the horizon. Follow along at www.TheHouseThatLarsBuilt.com or @HouseLarsBuilt on Instagram
