Inaam Al-Hashimi is an Emeritus Professor of Business & Economics, SUNY-Brockport, USA. After her retirement, she reverted to her old hobby of writing in her mother tongue, Arabic. She wrote poetry, short stories, literary critiques and articles. She also conducted numerous dialogues with poets and writers in Arabic. And, to build bridges between the land of her birth, Iraq, and her adoptive homeland, America, she translated Arabic poetry into English and English poetry into Arabic.
