She is also a trained collaborative law professional and mediator. She makes frequent appearances as an author and speaker on the topic of divorce. Mrs. Leister dedicates her career to helping children and their parents find constructive ways to manage their emotions during family change. She lives in Richardson, Texas, with her husband and their two children.
