He has worked with some of the most violent and notorious criminals ever to be locked up, including Robert Stroud, Birdman, Alvin Creepy Carpis, and George Machine Gun Kelly. Murders In Alcatraz introduces George as one of San Francisco's leading experts on Alcatraz history and it's past events. For the last 25 years he has been giving lectures and tours on Alcatraz. After working as a prison guard on the island he transferred to the United States Custom Service and worked there for 36 years where he retired as a Customs Inspector Supervisor.
