The granddaughter and daughter of missionaries, Dionne Carpenter writes from a lifetime of experience as a pastor’s wife, church planter and missionary trainer. She also taught junior high school and served as the director of prayer for a faith mission called Dynamic Church Planting International that assessed and trained church planters in the United States and around the world. For over 40 years she has ministered alongside her husband in the pastorate. She currently serves as the senior pastor’s wife at Bonita Valley Baptist Church in Bonita, a suburb of San Diego, California. She is an astute analyst of the dynamics of church life, and a compassionate champion of couples in ministry. She is an author and speaker and has an active counseling ministry.
