Dr. Ralph F. Murphy II is a native of East Cleveland, Ohio. Ralph earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Toledo, a Masters of Organizational Leadership from Lourdes University, and Doctor of Education in Community College Leadership (CCLP) from the Roueche Graduate Center at National American University. Dr. Murphy is an experienced and accomplished academic and student development professional in higher education. He has led student success initiatives positively impacting recruitment and persistence to completion rates for a diverse demographic of learners at The Ohio State University, Cuyahoga Community College, and Blue Mountain Community College. He has also served as a college advisor in Toledo and Cleveland Public school districts. Today, Dr. Murphy is the CEO & Founder of Maven Scholar Enterprises and Maven Scholar Consulting. He is the lead facilitator on presentations focusing topics on leadership, mentoring, K-12 student pathways to post-secondary institutions, strategies for closing the achievement gap for at-risk college students, and foster care alumni college student success.
