As an executive and wellness coach, she has worked with a variety of clients from CEOs and entrepreneurs, to people with specific ailments ranging from adult ADD and hypertension to IBS and obesity. She is on the faculty at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, is the Founder of Ta Yoga, which opened one of the first yoga studios in Harlem, and is former chair of the board of Yoga Alliance, which sets standards for yoga teaching in the U.S. A former Vice President at MTV Networks, she started her career as the youngest staff member at Harvard Business School writing cases studies on Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Kennedy has been featured in various media from CNN, Prevention and Tokyo FM radio in Japan, to Oprahs book Live Your Best Life! She is the producer of the Power Living: Mini-Escapes relaxation CD, and author of three books, 40 Days to Power Living, The Power Living Pledge, and Seven-Day PWR Detox. In 2008 her accomplishments were added to the U.S. Congressional Record. In 2009, she was named a Council of Urban Professionals Fellow for her demonstrated leadership and potential in the political or civic arena.
