Learning to Use My Bible helps teachers lay the foundation for the special importance the Bible will have in a child’s life. It is especially for children who have just received their first Bibles and can read and write on an elementary level (grades 3 and 4). This resource uses the NRSV translation. During the eight sessions the children will acquire skills that will help them take responsibility for making the Bible their life-long companion.
 
The Teacher Guide contains both the teaching plan and reproducible student sheets for eight sessions. The basic teaching plan takes a learning center approach, and provides notes and instructions to help teachers who do not choose to use this approach.
