Preston Gralla is the author of more than 30 books, including How the Internet Works, How Wireless Works, Windows XP in a Snap, and eBay in a Snap. He has written about technology for dozens of newspapers and magazines, including USA Today, the Los Angeles Times, PC Magazine, Computerworld, the Dallas Morning News (where he was a technology columnist), and many others. He was a founding editor of both PC Week and PC Computing, and an executive editor at CNet/ZDNet. As a well-known technology expert, he has made numerous appearances on television and radio, including CNN, MSNBC, ABC World News Now, the CBS Early Show, and many others. He has won numerous awards for his editing and writing, including Best Feature in a Computer Publication from the Computer Press Association.

Matt Brown is a San Francisco Bay-area consultant who has worked on creating Web pages for a number of years. He has edited more than 20 Dreamweaver and Photoshop books over the years, contributing most recently to Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 Demystified (Macromedia Press).
