'My life always feels like the trailers. I keep waiting for the film to start, but it's always just another trailer' TRAILERS is about a year spent living in a student house in Manchester. The housemates publicly fall in and out of love, bond andfall out with each other and learn how tough living with people can be. Grace, the protagonist, suffers from a degenerative disorder which makes walking difficult and her all the more vulnerable. She is a superb observer of her own and her friends strengths and flaws and of the pretensions of youth and the search for identity and love. This is a witty, perceptive and bittersweet love story for a generation too knowing for its own good.
