Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Alexandre Dumas (1802–1870) was a prolific author and adventurer who took part in the Revolution of 1830. His most popular works are The Three Musketeers, The Count of Monte Cristo, and The Man in the Iron Mask.
Richard Pevear, with his wife, Larissa Volokhonsky, has translated TolstoyÂ’s Anna Karenina as well as the work of Bulgakov, Dostoevsky, Gogol, and Chekhov. He has also translated from the French, Italian, and Greek. He teaches at the American University of Paris.
