I have been repeatedly asked if I had issued a revised edition Of my work on the Errors Of Refraction and have answered that question in the negative for the reason that since that work was first issued my methods Of exam ination Of the dioptric media have not changed. But the subject Of the imbalance Of the ocular muscles - during the past decade - has attracted so much attention from many members of the profession that I have concluded to give the results Of my personal experience with cases of muscular imbalance SO that my conclusions may be pre sented to those who are interested in this work. Hence this is partlya supplement to the Errors Of Refraction, and my personal experience in the examination and the correction Of the imbalance Of the eye muscles; while for amore extended study Of the subject I would refer to the many text-books Offered by other writers, notably Maddox, on the ocular muscles and Hansel! Andreber, on muscular anomalies, etc.
