The productive permanent State fund 1s approximately $25, and this amount is being increased at the rate of about $1, annually from the sale of land and timber and royalty from iron ore mined on the school lands, of which there still remain some acres. The income Of this fund, together with the State mill tax, amounted for the past year to per pupil throughout the State.
