If we be not so fortunate as to discover, im bosomed in our immense forests, a plant or plants fully equal in medicinal powers, to the celebra. Ted South American vegetable, yet should we find one of but little inferior properties, I will' venture to say, that it wil prove equally or more successful in medical practice, because we may obtain it genuine, which is not the case with the Peruvian bark, it being too frequently obtained, in an adulterated state, from our Apothecaries.
