The record is authorized by the Yacht Racing Association of Long Island Sound, and the tables are made up from the reports of the regatta committees of the clubs in the Association. There were twenty-two Clubs in this Association in 1901. It also contains the records of the Gravesend Bay Association, the New York, Larchmont, Atlantic Yacht Clubs and the Newport Association, and the tables of the three international races sailed during the year.
