The methods employed admit of variations and modifications, which will, doubtless, after the Cxplanations given, suggest them selves alike to the teacher and the intelligent student. Most Of the Atomic Weights employed in working the problems, are those printed in the Table on pages 114 and 5 as approximate; in exceptional cases, where great accuracy is necessary, the exact atomic weights given by the latest observers have been used.
