Ostendunt vero inscriptiones (qnarum in hoc genere utilita quanto longius patent quam numorum etiam me tacente satis intelligitu - r) non tantum florentis linguae per singulas notates vicissitudines, sed etiam baud spernenda indicia continent, quibus fere temporibus bona pars vitiosarum formarum, quae non solum apud sequiores scriptorcs leguntur, veruìn etiam antiquissimo et optimo caique veterum librariis saepe oh trusae sunt, increbescere coeperint, nec vero. Deficiunt in iisdem rusticae plebeiaeque vel bona aetate, ut expectari poterat, pronuntiationis ususve vestigia.
