Each of the Federal employee, manager, and retiree organiza tions was invited to testify today. All but the National Association of Retired Federal Employees declined to appear. However, each will submit a statement for the record. These organizations have indicated to my staff that they are generally supportive of the pegli Program and the three bills under consideration.
