Gentlemen: In compliance with the requirements of the school law of Oregon, set forth in section 13, I have the honor to transmit herewith the eleventh biennial report of the department of public instruction, embracing statistics and statistical summaries indicating the general condition of the public schools of this State for the term ending March 5, 1894. The statistics concerning colleges, universities, normal schools, and other educational institutions close with the term ending July 1, 1894.
