Warum ich Euch an dem Tag diese Blatter zur Erinnerung weihte, das war, weil sie Er lebtes und Gedachtes aus den Jahren enthalten, in denen ich nur teilweise mit Euch vereint war und wo das hier Erzählte Euch fremd blieb.

Warum ich nun noch einmal in die Öffent lichkeit damit trete, das ist, weil ich so über alles Erwarten liebevolle Teilnahme in der un bekannten Menge fand und daher voraussetzendarf, dass alle diese guten Freunde gern noch einmal einen Gruss von mir empfangen.
