Inhaltsangabe

Myra King's Uneasy Castles is a collection of her poems and stories, some of which address subjects of contention, such as child murder, incest, and rape. There are also tales of unrequited love: two women, living in a era when homosexuality was not tolerated; a spurned reluctant farmer; the loneliness of a child given a boy's name because her parents yearned for a son. Many other pieces are reflective or darkly humorous, but always there is redemption, retribution, forgiveness and hope.
