Finding a good breeder and raising a puppy can be hard work! My first puppy book was written during Covid when puppy sales skyrocketed, and I became aware of people making poor choices that lead to unfortunate outcomes. This book helped thousands of families in Australia make better decisions and answered their most common questions about raising a puppy. This new book is an extended version of my first book without Australian references. It includes new topics, charts and checkboxes.

Incredibly informative and fantastic to have for puppy buyers to help them make the best decisions

5.0 out of 5 stars The Golden Retriever puppy bible!
Reviewed in Australia 🇦🇺 on 29 June 2023I'm so grateful to have found this book prior to taking home our new puppy. This book is perfect to educate new puppy parents and puppy grandparents (who did things differently when raising their family dog). It covers everything from choosing the perfect breeder to bringing your puppy home and setting them up for success as they grow. It even covers handy first aid supplies to have on hand and emergency tips (which we hadn't even considered). I will be purchasing the updated version.

5.0 out of 5 stars The author's obvious love and passion for Golden Retrievers shines through in her writing.
