As a child growing up, the Author often went on holidays to the West Coast of Scotland, where highland cows can be seen roaming the beach. Memories of those times inspired the story of 'The Beach Rescue'.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Christine Gillougley is a Scottish/Australian author of children's books. Her debut story of Hector, Hamish and Morag was inspired by her moving to Australia and the memories of her life at home in Scotland. Since that first book, Christine has gone on to publish three further picture books, one of which The Beach Rescue is a sequel to her original story of Hector, Hamish and Morag.
