The book is a practical guide to quality management and outlines the basic ingredients necessary for an integrated system. The primary aim of the process described is to improve the way in which a company is run, with the achievement of an ISO 9000 certificate as its secondary aim.
The new edition has been revised to take account of ISO 9000 and the changes in emphasis introduced by the standard. A new chapter has been added to deal with maintaining and improving the system, as well as an expanded section on auditing.
