Garrett Fisher is the author of Extreme Autumn: Fall in Colorado and The Human Theory of Everything. He is also the Executive Director of the Institute for Economic Innovation. He is a visionary at heart – examining existing conventions from limitless angles and calling entrenched thinking into question: in economics, through literature, and via the arts. “Seeing things as others do not,” he has enjoyed a career in management consulting, financial turnarounds, and Chief Financial Officer roles at many firms. He presently is involved in a number of interesting book projects as well as a host of projects where he plans to further shake up current conventions regarding startups and human resource management. If Mr. Fisher is not found working as a mad scientist on his many projects, you can find him flying his antique airplane, skiing, or hiding above the timberline somewhere in the Rockies.
