Nancy Crochiere has been an editor and writer since sometime before the earth started to cool. She has written magazine and newspaper articles, children’s detective stories, and highly creative notes excusing her daughters for being tardy to school. Her popular humor column, “The Mother Load,” ran in The Daily News of Newburyport from 1997 to 2011, and from 2006-2008, it also appeared in North Andover’s The Eagle-Tribune. She lives in Amesbury, Massachusetts.
