Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Meredith Faith Hamons is a board certified music therapist and the founder of North Austin Music Therapy. Her company focuses on providing services to seniors, clients with developmental disabilities, and preschoolers. Meredith attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and completed her internship at the San Antonio State Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She received additional training in neurologic music therapy from the Center for Biomedical Research in Music at Colorado State University. Meredith has been passionate about working with the elderly since she was in high school and was thrilled to create and develop a program for seniors as the foundation of her company. In addition to her clinical work, Meredith also speaks frequently on the subject of music therapy at state and national conferences. Meredith lives in Texas with her husband and beautiful daughter. When she is not practicing music therapy, her favorite place to be is at the beach with her family.
