Inhaltsangabe

It has been several years since Lester first agreed to be a tour guide at a local tourist site. It is something he enjoys very much. There are a tremendous number of tourists that come to Amish country. What brings them here? Some come merely out of curiosity, somewhat like taking a trip to the zoo. Others have a high respect for the Amish and appreciate the many values that they teach and hold dear. Then there are those who can appreciate the spiritual emphasis and the way they strive to serve God and to live separate from the world. When leading tours, Lester tells them is that he welcomes their questions, so he has a better idea of what they wish to know. Usually they have many questions. Unfortunately, there is a lot of incorrect information in some books that have been written about the Amish. That is one reason for this book, which covers a broad field and hopes to do justice in representing the Amish.
