Type & Typography: Part 2—Type Book: this unique type book showcases nearly 2,500 free, commercial use fonts, including most of the fronts from Front Squirrel, and many from font sites like dafonts and fontspace.

Fonts are organized in three ways. Approximately 100 type families (fifty sans serif and fifty serif), suitable for text,  are displayed in single type sheets, one sheet per family. The book’s 2,900+ fonts are listed alphabetically with the name and a pangram for each font in that font (these include the free fonts plus fonts that shipped with Word, Windows, Office, and various Adobe products. And over 1500 fonts are shown in upper and lower case, numerals, punctuation, and a pangram.  These are separated into groups, such as initials, dingbats, script, cursive, calligraphic, novelty, etc.
