Born in Philadelphia, PA, Joe Augustyn was drawn to the arts as soon as he could pick up a pencil. With early dreams of a career as an artist, he was sidetracked to Hollywood after winning a Nissan FOCUS Award for writing. He attended AFI's national film conservatory as a Producing Fellow, worked crew on several movies, and returned to writing after a work related injury. Writer and creative producer of the cult movie classic Night Of The Demons, he followed it with the well-reviewed Night of the Demons 2. He left Hollywood to care for his aging parents and started honing his prose-writing skills. THE NINE LIVES OF FELICIA MILLER is his first novel.
