Is the Bible the Word of God? Generations of Bible scholars have tried to prove this with millions of hours of study in archaeology, textual ysis and apologetics. The answer is simple and can be determined from the Bible itself. If the Bible contains large numbers of mathematical errors, it becomes impossible to believe that the Bible is s trustworthy book. This is particularly true if many of these errors are supported by a wide variety of ancient manuscripts and translations, and/or are so integral to the text that it is unlikely that they were caused by incompetent copying. If the Bible's "God Almighty" was so sloppy as to repeatedly get his numbers wrong, then whoever wrote the Bible is neither God nor Almighty.
