�ber die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Debra Moffitt is the kids' editor of KidsHealth.org - the #1 website for health information written just for kids. In her role, Moffitt receives email from thousands of tweens - most of them girls. They write in with endless questions about their changing bodies and (sometimes urgent) requests for advice on dealing with the ups and downs of middle school life. Thanks to their daily inquires and shared stories, The Pink Locker Society was born.

Before joining KidsHealth in 2002, Moffitt was a newspaper reporter and an online journalist. She's a member of the Rittenhouse Writers' Group and received a fellowship in fiction writing from the Delaware Division of the Arts. Her nonfiction writing has appeared in the Washington Post and the Miami Herald. Moffitt was also the editor of Fit Kids, a KidsHealth book for parents published in 2004 by Dorling Kindersley.

While this novel put her in the pink, Moffitt is usually surrounded by boys. She lives in Delaware with her husband and three sons ages 12, 10, and 2.
