Colour and b/w photographs and illustrations throughout. Two-tone brown and green leather, upper board titled in gilt, spine untitled. A very good copy. A good basic introduction to coarse fishing by successful angler and Angler's Mail columnist, Dave Coster. The 1988 first edition was billed as the "First in-depth guide to non-toxic weights" following the then recent voluntary ban on lead shot. This 1996 reprint is bound in an unusually extravagant, though still rather cheap, binding. The front board gives the title as "How to Succeed at Coarse Fishing" though the title-page bills it as the "New Angler's Mail Guide to Coarse Fishing." This is rather confusing as in 1994 Hamlyn, in association with Angler's Mail, published a very similar but different book by Dave Coster titled "How to Succeed at Coarse Fishing." .
