Britton is an avid Patriots fan and has attended every game ever played at the Patriots home field, Gillette Stadium. ?Jim? and his wife travel two and a half hours each way from their home in New Hampshire to each home game at Gillette Stadium since it opened in 2002.Jim has closely followed all of Boston?s major sports team since his family first moved to New England in 1971. The first live professional football game Jim attended was as a boy in 1973, a pre-season Patriots home game that was played at what was then known as ?Schaefer Stadium.? Jim has been hooked on NFL football, and has been a Patriots loyalist ever since.
