Rolf Gompertz is the author of eight books, including Abraham, The Dreamer- An Erotic and Sacred Love Story; A Jewish Novel About Jesus; and Sparks of Spirit, How to Find Love and Meaning in Your Life 24 Hours a Day. A refugee from Nazi Germany, Gompertz earned a B.A. and M.A. from UCLA; worked for NBC 30 years; and has taught at UCLA Extension since 1974. He and his wife, Carol, live in North Hollywood, California. They have three married children and five grandchildren.
