Ben D. Mahaffey has been a Writer, Printer, Forest Ranger, College Professor, Private Consultant and Businessman. He has publications in journals, magazines and books. He has been married to the former Barbara Alice Proud for 49 years. He has three sons: Mark, Clark and Scott and he has five grandchildren. He resides in Vernal, Utah.
